Terms of use

These terms cover the ApplySignals dataset of job postings ("the data"), however you receive it: through our Apify actor, through a direct API key, or as a file. ApplySignals is operated by Taimingu OÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("we", "us"). By using the data you accept these terms. If you buy through Apify, Apify's own terms also apply to your use of their platform.

1. What you may do with the data

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data you receive for your own business purposes, including inside products and services you offer to others, such as a job board, a search feature, analytics or research.

You may not resell or redistribute the data as a dataset on its own, in bulk or substantially complete form, or offer it through an API whose main purpose is to pass the data on. Ask us first if you want to do that.

You are responsible for using the data lawfully, including data-protection, consumer and anti-discrimination law where you operate. Do not use the data to profile or contact individuals named in postings.

2. Where the data comes from

The data is collected from public career sites that employers publish on applicant tracking systems, and is derived from what those pages show. Company and product names belong to their owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the employers or the applicant tracking systems named in the data. Each record links to the original posting, which is the authoritative version.

3. No warranty

The data is provided "as is". Postings change and close without notice, and fields we derive, such as work arrangement, seniority, classification and requirements, are produced automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. We do not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

4. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the data in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Takedowns

Employers, rights holders and people named in a posting can ask us to remove it. Send the request to legal@applysignals.com as described on the contact page. We confirm receipt within two business days, and once a request is valid we stop delivering the posting within two business days. If you received a posting that was later taken down, delete it from your systems when we ask you to.

6. Suspension

We may suspend access that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or is used to harm the people or employers in the data.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes apply to data you receive after we publish them.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and disputes go to the courts of Estonia, unless the law of your country gives you a right to another forum.
